4.3 Private Exchange

Thru MFT receives files from partners and passes them to the flow. The flow represents the enterprise and delivers the file to the target application. The application prepares a response file and the flow drops it Off to Thru MFT for delivery back to the sender.

A special case is batch processing. Thru MFT receives a transaction batch files and gives it to the flow. Some records pass and some fail. The connector gathers the failures to a response file and drops it off back to the sender. The status of the file is 'Mixed Result' and it is the responsibility of the source organization to resend the failed transactions in the next private exchange cycle.
